About Us
St. Agnes Catholic School was established in 1865. The school is a vital part of the parish and serves a diverse community of learners in the formation of the whole person as an active witness of the Church through Message, Worship, Community, and Service.
St. Agnes School is devoted to the total development of each member of the Christian community whose life it touches. Each child who comes here will find acceptance, encouragement and motivation to become his/her best possible self.
The Administration and Staff work closely with the home to create a warm, loving, learning environment in which each child can gain an awareness of his potential and be challenged to use his abilities and talents for his own good and for the good of his family, school, church and country. In order to do this we need the support of our families in all that we do.
St. Agnes School is a Southern Association of Colleges and School (SACS) Accredited school and winner of the Character Education Award for the State of Maryland 2001-2002 school year.
Graduating students go on to a wide variety of excellent high schools in the area including Mount deSales, Mount St. Joseph, Loyola Blakefield, Calvert Hall, Seton Keough, Institute of Notre Dame, Notre Dame Preparatory, Baltimore Polytechnic, and Western Vocational Technical.
