Myspace Dangers

Parents:

Websites like www.myspace.com allow your child to lie about their age to open an account and then post their pictures, where they live, go to school and their age.  If your child has set up a free email account at hotmail or any of the other free email sites they can be in contact with anyone, from any computer without your oversite.

If your child has a page like this on the web; they are making all their personal information available to any  child predator that visits this site.  I believe they are putting themselves in grave danger and exposing themselves to a near occasion of sin.

Follow the instructions below to have Internet Explorer block Myspace and any other site you wish to block.

In internet explorer, click on tool then internet options

Then, click on the Security tab.

Click on the Restricted Sites icon.  Then click on the Sites... button

Enter the addresses you wish to block and click the Add button and then the OK button.
