On the 1st day of a BEAR Christmas, St. Agnes gave to me one completed Computer Lab.
On the 2nd day of a BEAR Christmas, St. Agnes gave to me two test tubes for Science class.
On the 3rd day of a BEAR Christmas, St. Agnes gave to me three French Horns for band practice.
On the 4th day of a BEAR Christmas, St. Agnes gave to me four essay questions to write.
On the 5th day of a BEAR Christmas, St. Agnes gave to me five golden basketball trophies.
On the 6th day of a BEAR Christmas, St. Agnes gave to me six Canadian geese a-nesting along the parish grounds.
On the 7th day of a BEAR Christmas, St. Agnes gave to me seven swans a-swimming along the Patapsco River.
On the 8th day of a BEAR Christmas, St. Agnes gave to me eight Dominican Sisters a-serving our Catonsville community.
On the 9th day of a BEAR Christmas, St. Agnes gave to me nine students a-dancing at a middle school social event.
On the 10th day of a BEAR Christmas, St. Agnes gave to me ten Lord’s Prayers a-leaping from my heart.
On the 11th day of a BEAR Christmas, St. Agnes gave to me eleven organ pipes a-piping.
On the 12th day of a BEAR Christmas, St. Agnes gave to me twelve Apostles from whom to learn.
No matter the time of the year, we are reminded to celebrate Christmas in our heart, all year long. So as we begin the New Year, may we honor the presence of Christ by spreading not only good cheer to others, but also the Good News of Christ to all those we meet.
