Age Requirements According to MSDE
- PreK 3 – Students must be 3 before September 1st
- PreK 4 – Students must be 4 before September 1st
- Kindergarten – Students must be 5 before September 1st
Please Note: A child who is not 4 by September 1 enrolled in a 4-year-old class may need to attend another year of 4-year-old prekindergarten to meet the age requirement the following year. A parent may apply for early entrance to kindergarten, but that does not guarantee enrollment.
Registration
Registration for new students who have completed an application and have been accepted and meet the requirements for admission begins during Catholic Schools Week in January. A baptismal certificate (unless the child is non-Catholic) and a birth certificate must be presented at the time of registration. In classes with a waiting list, families will be contacted when a space becomes available and ordinarily have 5 business days to accept the place and pay the non-refundable registration fee.
Registration is an implied contract renewed yearly between the school and the parent. The terms of that contract are the policies in the School Handbook. Admission of the child to the school is for a probationary period of up to one year.
